Embark on an adventure at 9 am as you take the Atlas road and traverse through magnificent landscapes of lush green meadows and authentic Berber villages that have stood the test of time since the 16th and 17th centuries. The scenery is breathtaking, and you will be awestruck by the natural beauty.
Make sure to visit the local country market every Monday and Friday. This bustling market is a hive of activity, and you’ll find everything from meat, vegetables, cereals, and olive oil to blacksmiths and wizards, all selling their wares under the shelter of reed tents. You can also sample the local cuisine at one of the many small restaurants in the market.
Continue your journey through the valley of palm trees, following the local river, Ourika. The road is dotted with numerous fruit trees, tiny villages, and restaurants lining the riverbank, offering a chance to relax and enjoy the scenery. You will also see the resort residences of the lucky few who enjoy this paradise all year round.
Finally, head to Setti Fatma, where you can revel in the refreshing shade of the seven waterfalls in this magical place. It is an absolute wonderland that will surely leave you mesmerised and invigorated.
