Upon your arrival at Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca, your English-speaking guide who will then take you to your hotel in Rabat via an air-conditioned bus will greet you. You will have some free time to yourself upon arrival to check in at the hotel.

Later in the afternoon, you will visit Rabat, which is the impressive diplomatic and administrative capital of Morocco. You will start the tour by visiting the Royal Palace, followed by the wild gardens of the Challah – which is a 14th-century Merinid necropolis. Next, you will visit the Andalusian Gardens that are situated within the walls of the Kasbah of the Oudaya. Finally, we will stop at the Hassan Tower, an enormous unfinished minaret that was mostly constructed at the end of the 12th century.

You will have dinner and will be staying overnight at the hotel.

After having breakfast, we will drive to Meknes, which is one of the most magnificent imperial cities of Morocco. It’s also known as “the Moroccan Versailles.” The city was founded in the late 17th century by Sultan Moulay Ismail, and it has some of the most impressive monumental gates and city walls. During our visit, we will see some of the prominent attractions, including Bab el Mansour, which is perhaps the finest gateway in Africa. We will also visit “Dar Jamai” Museum, the old Medina, Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, old granaries, and stables.

After lunch, we will drive to the ancient Roman city of Volubilis, where we will explore the ruins sprawled over a wildflower dotted hillside. In the evening, we will drive to Fes, where we will have dinner and spend the night at the hotel.

After having breakfast, we will spend the entire day sightseeing Fes, which is the spiritual capital of Morocco. You will feel like you have stepped back six centuries as you walk through the medieval Medina which has narrow and cobbled streets. The streets are filled with ancient mosques, towering green glazed minarets, and crumbling fondouks. You will get a glimpse of private worlds through narrow openings that reveal architecture of peaceful courtyards filled with carved cedar, brilliantly colored mosaic tiles, and delicately carved stucco ornaments.

After lunch, we will visit the Attarine and Abou Anania Medersas, the Nejjarine fountain, the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, and the Karaouine mosque. In the afternoon, we will visit the countless Souks. The artisan workshops in the medina are still active today as they were 100 years ago, and they strongly contribute to the city’s industrial economy. Trades such as metal and leatherworking, ceramics, silk, tapestries, and sculpting are still practiced in these workshops. The ancient city is still protected by original ramparts and has around 9000 passageways and narrow streets. We will also visit the famous tanneries and Fes Jdid.

We will have dinner and spend the night at the hotel.

Erfoud serves as the administrative center for the largest oasis in Morocco. It is also the starting point for excursions to Erg Chebbi, where the famous sand dunes of Merzouga are located. 4×4 vehicles will be waiting for you to explore one of the most beautiful sunsets in all of Africa. Afterwards, enjoy dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

After breakfast, we will head towards Erg Chebbi sand sea. Along the way, we will pass exposed rock slabs that contain fossils. We can stop at a fossil workshop to take a closer look at the ancient life that once thrived in the Sahara. As we venture deeper into the desert landscape, we will eventually see sand dunes on the horizon. We’ll meet our camel guide and ride to the campsite (bivouac). Once we reach the campsite, we’ll enjoy a traditional dinner under the brilliantly shining stars in the clear night sky. After dinner, we can climb the dunes and watch the moon rise before retiring to our beds in the nomad wool tent.

After breakfast, we will depart for the oasis town of Tinghir, crossing the J’bel Sahro Range, which is at an altitude of around 4,500 to 5,000 feet. We will visit one of the most spectacular natural environments, the Todra Gorge. This gorge is characterized by craggy and colorful rock walls that are up to 1,000 feet high, looming over a lush narrow valley filled with oases such as date palm trees and irrigated fields of grain. You can walk through the gorge to explore its depths.

After exploring the gorge, it will be time for lunch. We will then continue our journey to Ouarzazate, where we will have dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Begin your morning with a sightseeing tour of Ouarzazate and visit the Atlas Film Studios, where many famous films have been made. You will also visit the old Kasbah of Taourirt. Afterward, continue your journey towards Marrakech. Along the way, you will have several opportunities for taking beautiful photographs, such as at the UNESCO World Heritage Centre of Aït Ben Haddou, where movies such as Gladiator and Jesus of Nazareth were filmed. Additionally, you will cross over the dramatic Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass.

Once you arrive in Marrakech, you will have some free time to explore the area on your own. Later, enjoy dinner and spend the night at the hotel.

• Saadian Tombs

One of the most visited sites in Morocco is the Saadian Tombs which were only accessible via the mosque next door. However, in 1917 they were opened to the public and can now be accessed via a narrow passage that leads to an enclosed garden watched over by two mausoleums that include more than one hundred mosaic decorated tombs.

• Koutoubia Minaret

The centerpiece of Marrakech is the square tower of the Koutoubia minaret, attached to the Koutoubia Mosque, built in the late 12th century. It’s not particularly high—about 250 feet—but it towers over the Medina thanks to a long-standing planning ordinance that forbids any other building in the old city to rise above the height of a palm tree

• El–Bahia Palace

This 19th century palace is elaborate in its decoration and was built over a period seven years for

Ba Ahmed, the son of the Grand Vizier Si Moussa, there are row after row of apartments—that once housed Ahmed’s harem—a trapezoidal garden, a huge tiled courtyard, and many hidden treasures,both in the form of antique objects d’art and the palace’s convergence of Andalusian and Moorish architecture.

• The Souks

At the heart of Marrakech, filling the alleys north of the central square, are the souks, mile after constricted mile of tiny, closet-sized emporia. The sheer number of shops is overwhelming—100 of them in 100 yards. Every section of the souk has its own specialty, with alleys devoted to everything from spices and ironwork to the ingredients necessary for casting magic spells.

• The Square Jemaa el Fna

Jemaa el-Fna, is the main open space in Marrakech, and as old as the city itself.

Jemaa el-Fna is now the city’s cultural epicenter, thronged day and night with a carnival of local life, including snake charmers; dentists; scribes; herbalists; and entertainers. In the evenings, the square becomes a venue for alfresco eating and entertainment of a bizarre nature with troupes of costumed acrobats, storytellers, magicians, and semi-mystical Gnawa musicians attended by small knots of wild-eyed devotees giddy on the repetitive rhythms.

After having breakfast, you will have the chance to visit the first organic and aromatic garden in Morocco, known as Le Jardins Bio-aromatique de l’Ourika. This garden is located in the valley of the Ourika River and boasts over 50 species of aromatic and medicinal plants. It was founded by a team comprising of a doctor who specializes in the study of essential oils, a pharmacist, and a cosmetic formulator. During your visit, you will enjoy a delicious lunch consisting of natural and organic vegetables in the garden. After lunch, you will leave for Casablanca, where you can enjoy dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
