The region is also home to the hospitable Berber communities, who will welcome you with open arms, and you can explore their traditional and charming villages and Kasbahs. If you are lucky enough, you may even interact with nomadic communities and learn about their way of life. The Sahara in Morocco is a paradise for hikers and rock climbers, offering numerous opportunities to explore the stunning terrain.

we’ll start Our journey from your hotel at 7 a.m. and make our way to Ouarzazate, which is known as the gateway to the Great South. We’ll drive through the stunning High Atlas mountain range, crossing the Tizin-Tichka pass at 2,260 meters above sea level. As we continue our drive, we’ll visit the magnificent Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site that has served as a backdrop for many Hollywood movies. We’ll then make our way to Zagora, following the left bank of the Draa River. Here, we’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night in a nomadic tent in the erg, which can accommodate 2 or 4 people, depending on your request and availability.
we’ll depart from Zagora and start our journey back to Ouarzazate. Along the way, we’ll pass through the Kelaat de M’goun Valley, also known as the Valley of Roses, and continue to the Dades Gorges, where we’ll spend the night at a Traditional Hotel. This charming hotel is set against a backdrop of stunning red rock formations and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
We’ll depart from the Dades Gorges and visit the Todra Gorges, which feature towering cliffs that rise to 300 meters in height. We’ll then head to Merzouga via Erfoud and Rissani. We’ll embark on an unforgettable camel trek through the desert to reach our nomadic camp in the Chebbi erg. Here, we’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night in a traditional nomadic tent that can accommodate 2 or 4 people, depending on your request and availability.
we’ll depart from Merzouga after breakfast and take the road along the Dades Valley, known for its stunning fortified clay villages. We’ll drive almost 150 km between the High Atlas and Anti-Atlas mountains and admire the breathtaking scenery. We’ll arrive at Ouarzazate and then head for Marrakech, where our journey will end at the end of the day.
