Embark on a journey that will take you to Marrakech, a city filled with vibrant colours and rich culture. After you arrive at the airport, soak in the beauty of your surroundings during the 2.5-hour transfer to Marrakech before settling into your Riad for an unforgettable experience.
Today, we will spend the day in Marrakesh, a city famous for its red walls and gates that were once used as exits to other cities. Marrakech is one of the imperial cities known for its numerous monuments, palaces, mosques, and schools that the ancient sultans built. You won’t regret visiting this magnificent city.
We will visit the monuments in the morning, including the Majorelle Gardens, Bahia Place, Badii Palace, and Saadian Tombs. We will then have lunch in a traditional Moroccan restaurant.
After lunch, we will ride through the red city’s ramparts to see all its doors. Finally, we will end our day by visiting the markets. You can enjoy the panoramic square, where you can watch a group of artists performing various folk arts.
You will spend the night at a Riad in Marrakech.
“Embarking on this journey may seem daunting, but remember that the rewards of the experience are truly priceless. You’ll be transported back in time to the era of our ancestors, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Berber Moroccan towns and the world’s most famous mountains and valleys. With their rosy cheeks, the children will fill you with wonder and curiosity. As the day ends, we’ll enjoy a delicious dinner and retreat to the tranquil comfort of a Riad in Fez. Embrace this adventure and cherish every moment!”
Fez is home to many historical sites, including the Quaraouiyine – the oldest university in the world – and the Bouanania School. With a local guide, you can stroll through the narrow streets of the Medina, bask in the aroma of the Orient, and snap a photo of the blue gate “Bab Boujloud” and the famous luxurious pottery site. If you hear someone shouting “Balak,” it is a warning to make way for a mule or donkey passing by.
During your visit, you will have the opportunity to explore the spiritual monuments of the Medina, such as the Mosque of Andalusia and the district of Tanners. Afterwards, you’ll enjoy a midday meal and have free time to explore the city at your own pace. Later in the evening, you’ll return to your Riad in Fez for dinner and an overnight stay.
“The Blue City” is a city constructed on the slopes of mountains and boasts about its height, resembling a historical castle from afar. You have a free day in Chefchaouen, where you can tour the city’s centre. Dinner and accommodation will be provided at the hotel.
During the tour, we will visit the Hassan 2 mosque, the only mosque in Morocco open to non-Muslim visitors. Afterwards, we will explore the Habous neighbourhood and enjoy a seafood lunch. You will have some free time, and then we will reconvene for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
The airport departure time is subject to change based on the flight schedule.
